What inspired you to create CIAOMONDO?

Licia: CIAOMONDO was born from my passion for holistic wellness. It’s more than a community; it’s a space where wellness enthusiasts can connect, learn, and grow while embracing a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.

Through our platform and events, we offer an environment that encourages mindful practices, breathwork, and movement to support both mental and physical well-being.

What does collaborating with Aethos mean to you?

Licia: Partnering with Aethos is a natural alignment for us, as we share a deep commitment to holistic well-being and living in harmony with nature. At CIAOMONDO, we believe wellness is rooted in nurturing both mind and body, and Aethos embodies this philosophy by creating serene spaces immersed in nature. These are sanctuaries where individuals can reconnect, recharge, and restore balance.

Aethos's approach to crafting environments that inspire tranquility and meaningful connections resonates deeply with us. Just as Aethos provides a space for people to care for themselves while enjoying quality time with friends, CIAOMONDO builds a community centered on mindfulness, breathwork, and movement. Our shared dedication to wellness through nature, self-care, and connection makes this collaboration both exciting and seamless.

What does “community” mean to you, and how can well-being help in connecting people?

Licia: For me, community is a gathering of individuals who share similar interests, goals, and an appreciation for shared experiences. It’s about fostering a space where people can support one another and grow together, united by an open-minded spirit.

Well-being strengthens these bonds, creating more than individual practices; it builds a shared lifestyle. Well-being isn’t a temporary activity but a mindset - a way of living. When people come together with a mutual commitment to mental, emotional, and physical wellness, they naturally form deep connections. This shared focus on living fully and authentically brings people closer, making the community vibrant and supportive.

5 Practices to Enhance Mental and Emotional Well-Being

  1. Mindful Awareness: Cultivate mindfulness by focusing intently on everyday activities—such as eating, walking, or listening to music. Select one activity each day to experience fully. For instance, while eating, savor the taste and texture of your food without distractions.
  2. Breathwork: Breathing exercises help calm the mind and balance emotions. Start with five minutes daily, focusing on slow, deep breaths. Techniques such as box breathing or alternate nostril breathing can reduce stress and promote relaxation.
  3. Meditation: Meditation fosters inner peace by allowing you to observe your thoughts without judgment. Begin with five minutes each day, focusing on your breath. When your mind wanders, gently bring it back. Over time, extend the practice as it feels comfortable.
  4. Yoga: This holistic practice combines physical postures, breath control, and meditation to support mental clarity and emotional balance. Try simple poses such as child’s pose or downward dog, focusing on the connection between breath and movement.
  5. Mindful Living: Integrate mindfulness into daily routines, approaching each task with intention and presence. For example, when walking, notice the sensation of your feet on the ground and the rhythm of your steps. This practice anchors you in the present moment and helps reduce mental clutter.

Incorporating these practices gradually helps establish a strong foundation for well-being. Start small, remain consistent, and explore what resonates most with you.
